Frustrated that my post was removed trying to understand the rule
I posted a question asking people with longer-term sobriety whether they felt the age at which they stopped drinking made a difference.
It was removed because it was seen as crowdsourcing data or a survey. That wasn’t my intention. I’m six years sober myself, and I was trying to start a personal discussion with people who have more years behind them.
I understand the need for rules, especially in a recovery sub, but I’m struggling to see where the line is between a normal discussion question and something considered a survey.
Has anyone else had this happen?
