Justin trudea literally won the 2022 election because he was able to focus the main topic of the election on our treatment of first nations like he did in 2015 when he won an election because he vowed to end all boil water advisories(and cause of weed) but his government got sued by a few first nations bands and their defense was that promises made during election periods are not legally binding. We sent a first nayions group $13million to excavate the bodies under the residential school yet all they've done so far 5 years later is to build a fence, not a single shovel has struck the dirt.

Why is my government disparaging our ancestors specifically the Christian ones for educating them while they refuse to talk candidly about natives. Their anscestirs asked for residential schools, the health records state they were treated better, were healthier and taller than their siblings who never attended school, sure I acknowledge that obviously nmsome schools were worse than others but they called them mass graves immediately and they've refused to do anything that would disprove it if false, this is my first time hearing that most if not every first nations group on the East Coast had slaves at some point (I wonder why that is) we send first nations 15% of our tax dollars on top of the same services I receive to 2.5% of the population yet they're still suing the government for clean drinking water? What?

A common saying in first nations circles is "we are slaves to Canadian law" yeah we'll a hundred 50 years ago we ha people saying "we are slaves" and it had nothing to do with the Canadian system
