help with insertion taper/gauge

Hello, friends! A few days ago I removed my nose stud by myself for the first time ever. I wanted to clean it thoroughly. And it took me, with my husband's help, an hour and a half to get it back in!! (anxiety and hilarity ensued!!) So after several hours of researching, I see that I need an insertion taper. The problem is, I don't know the gauge size of my labret. (I may not be using these words correctly. I'm new to this, even though my piercing is nearly 4 years old.)

I do know that it's the smallest size I could get. It's super tiny. Should I just buy a little kit with a bunch of tools and hope that one of them fits? Thanks in advance!
