I'm interested in Forza horizon 6 but I'm worried about customization

I just got a PC after being on PlayStation my whole life so it'll be my first Forza game. My plan was to get a Honda Civic and customize it like the kanjo street racers. After doing some research into Forza it looks like you can't really do much car customization, but in car games I'm mainly interested in racing and car customization. I'm not seeing much on if they improved it for Forza horizon 6 or not. I'm willing to buy the premium I'm just a little worried that I'll have trouble getting into it if the cars are too plain
