I (36M) keep having to cut off men in my life because of how they treat my wife (37F) and the other women in my life, and I'm stressed about what it says about me.

I've got a lot of ladies in my life. My wife, my sister, and many of my best friends happen to be ladies.

One thing that's been constant in what I've heard from them is how awful so many men can treat them. My sister has had the most to say about this, we've had a lot of mutual friends who have been creepy or have put her in unforgivable situations. My wife has had a creep or two mess with her head in the past, and some of my best friends have had complex situations with some of my other mutual friends.

The list of stories go on and on, and they aren't really my stories to tell anyways. What is common with a lot of those stories is that they include me having to cut someone off because I can't find common ground with them because of what they said or did to my sister, wife, or buddies.

It's discouraging on many levels. I've had to drop guys that I had wonderful times with out of my lives, I feel like I wasn't there for the ladies in my life as good as I could have been in some situations, it makes me wonder if I am as good as the company I keep, and I wonder if I've been a bad example to other men around me if this behavior keeps coming from them.

TLDR - Any other guys deal with this? Ladies, what's your take on this? It's stressing me out lately and I am unsure how to wrap my head around it.
