How should I proceed

Well yesterday my trusty Ubiquiti AmpliFi mesh router finally shit the bed. It randomly stopped pulling an internet signal from my modem. At first I figured it was just an outage, but it never came back online despite resets, troubleshooting, and all the usual voodoo.

Right now I’m limping along with an ancient Linksys EA6100 until payday, but I’ve been out of the networking game for a while and could use some recommendations. From what I’ve heard, Linksys and Belkin aren’t really the industry heavyweights they used to be.

I’d prefer to stick with Ubiquiti, but I care more about reliability and overall quality than brand loyalty. Is it even worth jumping to Wi-Fi 7 right now, or should I just stick with a solid Wi-Fi 6 setup? Is TP-Link the move these days, or is there another brand that’s known for great reliability, a good app/interface, ease of use, and solid compatibility with Plex?
