AIO for being sad that my parents didn’t wish me a happy Mother’s Day?

Need Advice

I’m pregnant with my first ❤️and have been having a really really hard time medically (ie almost hospitalized bc my doctors were so worried about me). I know I haven’t held my baby in my arms yet but I do still have a baby (and I consider myself a mom).

I live long distance (recent move) from my family so I knew I’d miss our regular activities. However, I thought my parents would at least wish me a happy Mother’s Day via text. *Maybe* I’d get a card and gift like they do for the other mothers in my family. But I wasn’t even acknowledged. At all. My parents sent these really sweet, loving texts to my sister and SIL in our group chat, on top of all the extra stuff they’re doing today.

My parents are pro lifers too which makes my feelings more complicated. If they believe life starts at conception, then wouldn’t that automatically make me a mother in their eyes?

I’ve just been rather sad about it. I haven’t brought up my feelings (and wasn’t planning to) bc I don’t want to be negative on Mother’s Day. AIO and just being an emotional pregnant lady? I feel a little silly being sad about not getting a text but I’m having a hard time moving past it this morning
