would bird people lay eggs or give live birth?

I'm making a race of Humans with wings (and a few other bird qualities). Here is the concept I posted if you want to full Tl:Dr on them. They live in a steampunk setting with a bunch of floating islands.

Context: Avians have Human torsos, heads arms and legs but their feet and hands are clawed like a bird's and often have feathers on them. They also have tailfeathers and wings they use to fly. There are many different types of Avians each from a bunch of different tribe that united into one nation called the United Tribes.

The Question: Would they lay eggs or give birth? Since they're more Human than bird I guess giving live birth would make more sense but I feel like them laying eggs would add to them feeling more alien and bird-like.

What do you think?
