Previous self-employment income still generating while visiting.
Hey everyone, I've been reading up on ETA and visas for my current situation to ensure everything goes smoothly. Looking to stay with my partner for a few months leading up to the holidays but I would really love to make content while visiting under my visitor ETA.
I am very aware of content created in the UK is prohibited from being monetized, which I will make sure to ensure my content is demonetized when inside the UK. But my question is for pre-existing income that is generated before entering the UK. I have lots of TikToks, videos, Twitch and Patreon subscriptions that still fulfil their role and get payments. So if I simply just don't make monetized content on these websites and don't engage in them, is it still an issue if I were to get money from previous months?
I can't outrightly turn it off. But is not making content on that platform is the way to go? Could I hold or pause the payments entirely while not using that website? Would that help?
To my understanding, If I were to still be using Twitch or Patreon during these times to create revenue it would be a problem. But if I just did something as a hobby with no revenue at all on YouTube with zero monetization, surely that's correct, right?
Thank you for the help in advance, friends!
