Context: I asked out this girl who goes to the cafe I go to and she rejected me. She later got into a relationship with someone else. This happened in December. I used to hug here hello and bye, but after the rejection decided only to fist bump her. We still talk to each other whenever we see one another and are relatively friendly.

It took me awhile to get over her, but eventually I did. She's graduating from uni soon and about to study for the MCAT. It had been a month since I last saw her and figured I wouldn't see her again for just as long. As I was leaving the cafe today I told her good luck on her exams and raised my arm for a side hug. i figured that a lot of time had passed and it was okay to hug again for this one time. She did not reciprocate and just gave me a fist bump. It was very awkward, but I understand why she did it.

I hope I didn't make her uncomfortable and asked the cards twice how she felt about the hug attempt. I never plan on doing it again. Just here to make sure I'm reading my cards right.

So first spread: She might think I'm still into her (k of c) and didn't appreciate the gesture (rx 4 wands). Ultimately decided to not engage and keep things civil (k of w).

Second spread: She was surprised (rx 7 of w) by the attempt. Thought it was a reckless action (k of w) and it created some minor conflict (5 of w). 4 of p was pulled as clarifyer for first card. I take it to mean that it was surpsing, but nothing bad. We're still cool. Star was pulled for the 5 of w, I take it as a sign to never do that again.

How did she feel when I tried to hug goodbye?
