Coming back to Morocco !

I’m a Moroccan-American entrepreneur moving to Morocco full time and just wanted to ask a few questions to those who’ve been through this or are currently in the trenches.

Little bit of background: I’ve been selling enterprise software to american corporations for the last six years. This year I decided to build out an MVP and we got validation very early on from a pretty decently sized company in Morocco so I decided to bite the bullet and go full-time. I’ll be boot strapping everything, so any piece of advice that you could give me about the tech scene in Morocco would be greatly appreciated.

There are some questions that I had immediately, but like I said any advice is amazing!

1.Developer salaries: What’s a realistic monthly salary range for a full-stack developer in Casablanca? Curious about both mid-level and senior and whether equity is taken seriously as part of comp?

2.Banking: Which bank actually works well for a startup founder? Looking for solid online/mobile access, reasonable fees, and no unnecessary friction. Open to hearing both the good and the horror stories.

3.Community: Where do founders actually meet each other in Casa? Specific events, coworking spaces, WhatsApp groups, meetups, whatever’s actually active in 2026.
