why is genji in the game

its a little absurd to me that genjis been in the game since release but has not once had a major buff or rework, like instead of adding shitty supports and auto aim dps????? can we put some effort into characters that are completely unviable? its probably not just genji but thats who i enjoy, u can pick absolutely any other character on the overwatch roster that has a gun type weapon and do more with one button than genji could with two firing types and 2 cooldowns, whoever these new devs are should genuinely pass it over theyre shoving this game deep into a deep pile of steaming poop.
