Based on Rocky's skills in the movies would he have been unable to defeat Muhammad Ali

Rocky was a great boxer, would he have been able to defeat Muhammad Ali who was faster than Apollo Creed and wouldn't get caught off guard as easily?

Ali is just faster than everyone Rocky fights..
