Should I be their friend? Age gap

I’m 19f and my co-worker is 29m we became friends when I started working we aren't in the same department however we realized we have a lot in common. overall he seems like a really cool and respectful guy. I kind of look up to him because hes always cheerful and social, he seems like he has his career figured out. He asked me if I wanted to go watch a movie with him since we both love going to see movies. However I’m questioning if it’s weird to be friends with a 29 year old as a 19 year old? idk I really want to be his friend cause I have no friends. but also I question it a bit bc of the age gap. So far I haven’t gotten any weird vibes from him and everything seems platonic.
