i am in desperate need of help as i have reached way past my breaking point
im 14 and ive basically lived in the same home since i was 4 this year my dad decided we are moving out and it has been really affecting me mentally
ive always been extremely attached to my mom in 2023 when i was 12 my family found out my dad had been cheating and everything at home started falling apart after that it led to constant arguments and my mom going through a really bad mental state while still trying to hold everything together for us kids
she was always the one keeping the home stable while my dad would travel a lot and growing up we were really close i never expected things to turn out like this
there was a point where everything at home completely changed overnight the atmosphere felt heavy and different and it felt like the version of life i grew up with just disappeared
my mom worked extremely hard over 15 years of marriage even helping my dad get a better passport through their relationship and stability and still everything ended up breaking apart like this
now the idea of moving out hits me really hard because it feels like im leaving behind the only place that holds all those memories even the painful ones i cry a lot thinking about it and it has been affecting me every night
i dont really know how to deal with this or how you are supposed to move on from a place that holds your entire childhood and everything that broke it
what do you do in a situation like this how do you cope with moving away from a home you are emotionally attached to
