Tank-G not working as an audio interface anymore
Hey guys, I have a Tank-G and it used to work perfectly as an audio interface.
I could record guitar in Audacity while listening to backing tracks through headphones plugged directly into the Tank-G with no issues at all.
Recently I updated the firmware to get AM4 support, and ever since then everything got messed up....
Now Audacity receives a VERY low guitar signal.
The only way to get a usable signal level is by increasing the Tank-G “Main” volume, but that also makes the headphone output insanely loud (and destroys my ears in the process).
Does anyone know if the new firmware changed some setting related to:
- USB output level
- interface mode
- USB routing
- input gain
- separate headphone/main levels
Or maybe there’s some Audacity/driver setting I need to change after the firmware update?
It worked perfectly before, so I’m guessing this is something related to the new firmware.
