For those who left a certain life behind and started fresh

For those who left a certain life behind and started fresh, how long did it take for Allah to give you something better? My journey wasn't easy when I stopped making haram money I thought I'm doomed because that was all I knew, turns out I received 100x more. It did not come without a test to return back to my old ways It was a long battle. but Alhamdulilah i passed and got blessed.

What are your stories I would love to hear them.
