DJI Air 3s over Mavic 4 Pro

So I’m a hobby photographer, I’ve shot professionally in the past but I only take photos on my travels now.

I still have the original Mavic Pro from back in the day I’m way past due for an upgrade although I’m surprisingly able to still get some what decent photos with it.

I’m considering the Mavic 4 pro and the air 3s but I’m worried that the fixed aperture in the air 3s would limit me more, along with the worse performance in low light settings. I don’t take many videos so still image quality is really the important thing to me. I’m also considering the Air 3s because it’s smaller and lighter and I’m not 26 anymore so carrying a camera bag with a full frame DSLR, drone and batteries on long hikes is starting to get tiresome 😆

Would I really be “settling” getting the air 3s? I’m highly critical of my images and quality but from what I hear the air 3s is pretty competitive in its image quality.

I’m ok with spending more money on the Mavic 4 pro but I’m also wondering if it’s overkill for my purposes, I’d say I’m fairly experienced in flying also.
