Advanced Plyometric drills - DIY or only under a conditioning coach?
Training mostly just skills with some basic low rep compound lifting combined with very basic mobility work a few times a week.
Could I mix it up by trying some more high intensity plyometric work by myself?
I have personally heard dedicated plyometric technique is more difficult to perfect than it looks (same reason I never try oly lifting by myself) and can not only be a waste of time if you don't do it properly but actually make you slower too, if your grind the movements out in a way you're not supposed to.
I am not sure if it's worth trying without proper supervision. Thoughts please?
