Substitute Teaching in Wisconsin

Question

I have more credits than what is required for an associate degree, due to not finishing my nursing degree (i was In for RN, but got pregnant and worked as an LPN and didn’t go back even though i had one semester left). I was told that this would be ok to use to get my substitute teaching license, but there is no “pathway” when applying for the licenses the state website. Has anyone heard of wisconsin granting a license without a degree but with a specific number of credits? I keep getting different answers from different people/agencies.
