Conservative/ethical dentist

Looking for a dentist that doesn’t try to drill early cavities/demineralization spots. I had a bad experience where the dentist drilled into two teeth when I was only informed of one needing filling. I’m a little anxious now and looking for someone honest and not looking for extra money. What dentist do you trust?
