unsure on how to tell artist i’ve booked with someone else

i nipped into a studio today to get a rough pric3 for a tattoo i want and the pr!ce he gave me wasn’t awful so i said ill dm him to get booked in, i messaged him asking for his availability. I then dm’d another artist who i’ve been with before and she gave me a better pric3 and has availability asap so i’m going to with her instead, how do i tell the first artist i’m going with someone else😭🙏
