The lack of support from all the Jacksons on the Cascios: is it to keep the money machine going or safety fears?
How is it even possible that in such a large family, not a single soul is stepping forward to do the right thing and support the Cascios in the horrific abuse they have experienced?
These are people the Jacksons knew well, people who were inside the circle for years. They are alleging sexual abuse with details so graphic that 60 Minutes Australia had to edit out a significant portion just to air it.
Where is the moral courage? Is there seriously no one brave enough with a functioning conscience to back them? There are 3 well known CSA survivors in the family...
I find myself looking at the silence and landing on two main reasons:
- The Money Machine
The MJ Estate is generates hundreds of millions every year. If you are a family member, an associate, or a hanger-on, your livelihood depends on the myth of Michael Jackson remaining pure. Supporting the victims means killing the golden goose. Are they just choosing paychecks over justice for abused children? It’s sickening, but we know money talks.
- Fear for their safety.
This brings me back to La Toya in the 90s. Everyone called her crazy and they called her a liar, they said she was being manipulated by Jack Gordon. But let’s remember what she actually said. She said she was terrified of her own family. She explicitly stated she needed Jack Gordon’s mob ties just to keep her *safe* from being kidnapped by the family for trying to expose the truth regarding the abuse.
The media and the fans mocked her when she claimed the family would try to kidnap her to silence her.
But look at history. Time vindicated La Toya.
2012: Katherine Jackson is essentially kidnapped/missing by her children (Jermaine, Randy, Janet, etc.) during the custody dispute with Paris.
2017: It happens again, with TJ Jackson filing a temporary restraining order claiming his aunts and uncles were essentially holding Katherine against her will to manipulate her.
The "crazy" La Toya theory that the family uses kidnapping and intimidation to control the narrative turned out to be 100% true.
Despite that fear, it's unconsciable to me to watch the Cascio family stand alone against this massive machine and stay silent or worse, attack them like TJ and Taj Jackson.
So do we think it's purely money or is there a fear of safety as well due to the Jackson family's history of acting like a mob with their own flesh and blood....
