Aio for thinking my friendship is over with my best friend

So I 19 genderfluid have a friend that will call Alice. I’ve posted about Alice and her boyfriend Max, Max treats Alice terribly. A few weeks ago I yelled at Max for being saying some horrible things in our old group chat. He also called one of our friends horrible names that I can’t repeat.

Pretty much shortly after that my boyfriend threw a surprise party for me. He’s been planning it all month, Alice felt hurt by how I treated her boyfriend and told multiple people three different versions of why she didn’t come to the party. One was that she didn’t feel good and had a cold, the other was that she didn’t feel mentally ready to see me face to face. Keep in mind she started saying that last week, and the other one was that she just didn’t want to go.

I was sad and let down that she didn’t show up but I understood why. I was told she was sick by multiple people at the party including her over text. That being said me and Alice have a shared friend that will call Niomy. Well Niomy is sick of Max and the constant drama he causes, she’s also sick of Alice and being dragged into Alice and Max constant drama. So Niomy blocked Alice which led to spiral of events.

To sum it up pretty much Max got mad at Niomy for blocking Alice. Max claims we’re punishing Alice and mocking her mental health. He refuses to believe that we’re not upset about the party refusing to hear why everyone else is done with them both. Max was acting crazy towards my boyfriend and almost got violent towards him which is terrifying.

Alice refuses to talk to me or respond to my calls or texts. I’m so exhausted by the event and heartbroken that I’m probably losing my best friend. At the same time I can’t worry about this too much because me and my boyfriend are trying to figure out if I’m pregnant or not. I just have too much going on to stress about my friendship.

So Reddit am I overreacting for thinking my friendship is over with my best friend?

TL;DR After my best friend didn’t show up to my surprise party, our mutual are choosing to go no contact. My best friend felt hurt and involved her boyfriend making things worse. I can’t reach my best friend now and believe she’s avoiding me. Am I overreacting for thinking my friendship is over with my best friend?
