Bottega Veneta Andiamo

Hi everyone! I’m thinking about buying the Bottega Veneta Andiamo Mini or Small as my first luxury bag and would love honest opinions from people who own it or have tried it.

A few things I’m wondering:

Is it actually practical for everyday use? I love the look, but I’m not sure how much the mini/small realistically fits or whether it’s comfortable to carry for longer periods.

For those who compared sizes, would you recommend the mini or the small? Do you ever wish you sized up or down?

How does the wear and tear hold up? I’ve heard that the leather/edges can show signs of use pretty quickly, so I’m wondering if it’s the kind of bag I could wear often, or if it’s better as more of an occasional bag.

Since this would be my first luxury purchase, do you think it’s a good “first designer bag,” or would you recommend starting with something more classic or durable?

It’s around $6k, which is honestly a little out of my budget, so I’m also wondering: do you think it’s overpriced for what it is? Did it feel worth the price after owning it?

Do you think the Andiamo is too trendy, or does it have enough of a classic shape to still look good years from now?

Can it be dressed up for nicer dinners/events, or does it feel more casual/daytime?

Also, are there any colours or leathers you’d recommend or avoid?
