So You Believe Life On You

So you believe life on you has been quite tough

But you are never hungry or once had to sleep rough

There are millions of people who are homeless today

Compared to them in life you are doing quite okay

You have never experienced real poverty

And though on this you clearly see fit to disagree

But when you complain of your lack of money or take home pay

The part of victim you verbally play

What we think we are we are happens to be true

But when you say there is nobody financially worse off than you

You are not in touch with reality

How wrong in your thinking on this you seem to be

In fact you are one who need not have to walk far

To meet people financially far worse off than you are.
