Was anyone else disappointed with season 2?

I felt it tried too hard to recreate viral moments from season 1 e.g. the dead dance, the camp being the new Poe cup. It had too many subplots and they added too many new characters with similar mother issues. Lady Gaga was hyped up so much, mentioned frequently in interviews and promo and then she was barely in it.

I also think that Jenna ortega and Emma Myers didn't have the same vibe as the interviews in season 1. It was probably because they were both tired from doing promotions all day but the interviews felt less interesting and they looks bored answering the questions.

I think they could've done so much more with the story. I would've liked to have seen Enid with her mother now that she's wolfed out and the dynamic between her and Wednesday could've been better.

I really enjoyed season 1 and I could barely watch part 1. Part 2 was definitely better but I don't rewatch them like I do with the first series. I'm hoping season 3 will redeem the show.
