Do you think Silk Soar will be mandatory for Sea of Sorrows?

I love Silksong, and I’m excited for the DLC, but I kind of hate the changes that Act 3 makes to Pharloom, and that even though I’ve completed the true ending, everyone is still depressed because the save is set before the Lost Lace battle. I much prefer Act 2 Pharloom, to the point where I have a separate save where everything that can be done without triggering Act 3 has been done, just so I can explore Pharloom without the Void darkening everything.

So I’m curious, do you think there will be Sea of Sorrow content locked behind having Silk Soar, which is exclusive to Act 3? I won’t hate the DLC if it does, I’m just curious if I’d be able to complete the DLC on both of my saves.
