mixed signals from crush

I really like this girl and im not sure if she does too. ive only talked to her once in person and text once in a while. i came up to her and she seemed kinda startled and surprised to see me, she dropped what she was doing immediately and turned to me and just stared into my soul but i was too scared to make eye contact. but she didnt ask me any questions back about myself or try to keep the conversation going which was pretty awkward.. but im confused because whenever im not looking, all my friends tell me shes always staring at me, sneaking glances and smiling too. i even catch her sometimes staring and she just looks away. she tries so hard to avoid talking to me and when we walk by each other, she acts like she doesnt see me or looks away immediately when we do notice one another. im so confused, does she like me? does she not?
