How would an ENTJ react to this?

Hope you're all doing well :)

I'm currently writing a book and wanted some help to understand the ENTJ midset/energy better for one of my characters.

I'm already on the second book and still trying to find a publisher that doesn't use AI for book covers or editing..... (it's been difficult), but in this second booj the ENTJ character finally opens up to another character he has a deep friendship with. There's definitely some tension between them, although I'm not planning on them ending together xD

For the first time, he breaks down crying in front of her because he just can't carry an old pain inside him anymore.

The other character (his friend) tells him he isn't alone, that she'll be there for him no matter what, and that he can rely on ger to get through anything. That's where my doubt comes in: how would an ENTJ realistically react to this?

How would you react if a close friend supported you like this, for the first time in a very long time you cried in front of them? Would you say something? Or would you try to brush it off and change tje subject or go do something else? Idk ;---;
