Best way to convert USD to CHF prior to Swiss Move

I’m planning to move to Switzerland from the USA in about a year. I’d like to buy a home in Switzerland once I move but all my money is currently in USD. Also, I’d like to hedge against possible further devaluation of the USD vs. CHF by not waiting until a year from now to convert into CHF.

What is the best way with the least fees to move money to CHF prior to my move? Is there a way to do it periodically as a hedge against currency devaluation? Would I need CHF in a Swiss bank account when buying a home in Switzerland?
