Is there any real value in knowing whether to send a cold email before you write it?

I keep seeing founders complain that cold outreach fails because timing is wrong, not copy. They reach out with no relevant signal, or miss the window when the prospect was actually in-market.

A few questions:

  • If something told you Green (send now), Amber (wait), or Red (not yet) based on a prospect's recent public signals, would you actually trust it? Or would you second-guess it anyway?
  • Would you pay for that, or just build it in n8n yourself?
  • What's the one thing that would make you NOT trust the output?

No product to sell. Trying to understand if this is a real problem or just a "yeah that would be nice" fantasy.
