Some people don’t seem to know who he is. Gossip influencers in France are not the same as in the United States, where they often just chase clout. He is literally the original Gossip Girl of Europe!

As a French person, I know this influencer, Aquababe, and honestly, most of the things he says usually turn out to be true. It’s actually kind of scary because he seems to have “moles” everywhere in Europe feeding him information, sometimes random people, but sometimes even well-known people too.

He has a reputation for knowing things that are extremely private and that probably should never be revealed without the person’s consent. He has even allegedly been beaten up before because he exposed intimate secrets about people. That’s how serious it gets.

He also announced the death of a famous French actress about a month before it was publicly confirmed. He also announced that a well-known French rapper was in a coma after a respiratory problem, without the family’s consent. The rapper passed away the next day, on May 17, which confirmed his information.

The same thing happened with Miss France Iris Mittenaere. He revealed that she had allegedly cheated on several of her partners. Nobody believed him at first, but a few hours later, her exes posted Instagram messages that seemed to confirm Aqababe’s allegations.

More recently, he claimed that a violent argument had broken out between influencers during a trip to Egypt, a group of influencers known as "Team Nasdas". He talked about tensions, violent fights, and one influencer allegedly being hospitalized because of a lack of cocaine there. And guess what? It was later confirmed as true by the influencers involved.

Even more recently, after Aqababe posted information about a fight in the Real Madrid locker room, Tchouaméni himself reportedly contacted Aqababe on Instagram to deny it. He explained that “something happened” but that he “couldn’t say anything,” denied that there was a punch, but admitted that Valverde’s head “hit the floor,” while asking him to “keep it discreet.” Aqababe, who was accused of lying after giving his version, decided to publish screenshots of that conversation. Those messages put Tchouaméni in a very delicate position with Real Madrid. And the fight itself was confirmed: Arbeloa, Real Madrid’s coach, confirmed that there had been “an incident” and said that Valverde had a cut, and that both players had apologized.

People still don’t really know how he gets this information. He seems to know about couples, fights, private drama, behind-the-scenes conflicts, everything.

So I don’t think it’s fair to simply say he’s lying. He definitely doesn’t lie all the time. Of course, he can be wrong sometimes, because at the end of the day he depends on what people tell him. But he has been right enough times that people in France take him seriously.

And people also forget that Manon is Swiss. Switzerland is right next to France, and a lot of Swiss people know Aquababe too. Plus, part of Switzerland is French-speaking. So it’s really not impossible that someone in Switzerland who knows about Manon’s situation contacted Aquababe and gave him information.

That doesn’t automatically mean everything he says is 100% true, but it also means people shouldn’t dismiss it immediately just because he’s a gossip influencer. Personally, I believe him until proven otherwise.
