Help with rear brakes on Mazda 3 BP/4th gen 2021

After entering maintenance mode do i need to compress brake piston or does it auto retract?

If i do need to compress it.
Do i need to twist and compress it?
Clockwise or counter (same for both sides of the car)?

Torque specs for brake job?

Any other specific thing i need to do on this car?
