Dog abuse by man living in 100 freedom place south

Yesterday (May 9) around 330 pm I witnessed a man hit and kick his dog (brindle dog - likely a pitbull mix or cane corso mix?) - the man was carrying groceries and kept pulling his dog who was cowering in fear towards the floor and then bent down to hurt it while the dog squealed and yelped. I did not get it on camera (I know this was a mistake I was just in shock). I filed a 311 report but I don’t think anything came out of it. I’m guessing the man lives in 100 freedom place south (opposite waterline square) as he was rummaging to get his keys and enter the building and went in and hurt his dog again while it yelped.
