Elastic’s cutting gums

Hi!

I’m on try 14/75(long way to go lmao) and I currently change my trays every 5 days. But every so often my elastics will cut into my gums and it sooo uncomfortable and sore. It’s on a tray by tray basis so most of the time no issue are not sore and other times the bands will cut and hurt like a b*txh

I contacted my ortho about it and they said to salt rinse, and contact again if it got worse but I changed trays and the issue went away.

Like honesty I’m unsure as to what raising the issue will do because as i change so often there is a hight chance this issue will go away again 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Will most likely message them again but, in the mean time has anyone else experienced issues like this? If so how did you manage it?
