Thematic deaths and why I think a brutal or symbolic death could be ok depending on how the winner acts after it.
Often times in a death battle I'm more worried about how the story of something is handled rather than the winner, even if a winner I don't agree with comes out on top but they have a nice climax, I really can't be mad.
The problem comes in that fact that yuji and denji are both extremely precious to my heart and having them die in unspectacular moment would not only suck for the general fight, but also for anyone who likes that characters.
There are 2 main deaths I see, the airport scene or a retelling of end of jjk, with either offering another the ability to live and the other refusing based on suffering enough and resting/ being too old and wanting the next generation to be better.
Reasonably the airport scene is the most likely, since both series have a flashback / after life with here younger selves but I think the ending of jjk would be more in line with with the themes and such of chainsaw man, as it originally ended with pochita basically killing himself from what I understand.
But what do your hink the death scene should be for the loser?
