Speculating on all the season 3 characters because I felt like speculating
for both brevity and because it's easier, I'll be focusing on the ones who got reveal posts/images.
this post will contain talk about leaks, so I'll just go over what we know of them and their kits real quick:

!remielle: supposedly ether anomaly, presumably an onfielder to go with velina!<
also there's pyrois, but we don't know much about his kit, and him being an ether dps doesn't really affect anything for this.
these leaks will be referenced again later, so be warned.
I'm gonna go in order of easiest to hardest, because it's easier to fill in the ones you're not sure on when you've already got a full roster.
1: Sigrid
the most obvious one, she's obviously ice attack. she has an ice symbol on her spear, she's a knight with a traditional weapon, so she's a dps. we just had promeia, yidhari is less new than hugo, and she doesn't really give rupture vibes. so ice attack.
given norma releasing shortly before her, and the characters around her (by my speculation) mostly being anomaly, I'm gonna say she may want norma.
2: claret and roxy
I'm gonna say: claret is physical anomaly, roxy is wind support, and will be the new premier anomaly support, replacing yuzuha.
so, first of, why physical for claret? because of her color scheme. red is commonly associated with both fire and physical. but if we look at the designs of these two, they appear to be gothic or horror themed. roxy seems like a zombie or other type of undead, claret is a vampire or a bat. she's even got a bat shaped bow on her shoulder. other than that, there's other design elements that are reminiscent of a fancy vampire, especially around and below her neck. so claret's red is not in reference to fire, it's in reference to blood. while fire vampires aren't entirely unheard of, I don't get the sense that's what they're going for here.
as for her being anomaly, I landed on this for two reasons: the first being that ye shunguang is a physical attacker void hunter, silly just released as a physical rupture. granted, this didn't stop remielle from being ether anomaly, but claret isn't a void hunter so she doesn't have the same sales power.
the other reason is roxy being wind support.
onto roxy then, it's pretty simple with her: her more "weak" looking appearance suggests she's not a dps, so a support. her colour scheme gives off wind more than other elements. and leaks suggest roxy and claret might release right after remielle. with them focusing on the anomaly properties of wind, adding a wind support for anomaly characters close to the anomaly team with a wind character seems logical.
if it'd make sense for roxy to be an anomaly support, it'd make sense for claret to be anomaly.
3: phoenix
so, obviously she'll be fire. but what specialty?
given the bandages, her name (phoenixes are associated with rebirth), and the interknot post where she's drawing zhao with her own blood, I'm inclined to say fire rupture from krampus (sorry banyue). but then again... zzz seems averse to making fire main damage dealers. and speaking from personal experience, the characters I was most excited for being fire onfielders ended up being a sub-dps and an A rank, so I'm naturally distrustful of my own judgement on this since I like her design.
because of this distrust, I am half expecting her to be a sub-dps, because it's what I don't want. honestly wouldn't be surprised if sigrid wants off-field damage dealers and gets paired with norma and phoenix. phoenix (likely) being krampus does mean there's no faction teammates for her.
4: sunbringer
here we go into the territory of being hard to guess from the design. however, I can guess another way: remielle not being wind would suggest sunbringer may be wind instead. they're gonna want to sell the new element with a highly anticipated character, after all. granted, I feel like this made more sense to do with ramielle, but whatever, I'm not the marketing guy.
so my guess is that sunbringer will be the first wind main dps, which will be a big selling point of her. tired of all the wind weak bosses but no wind carry to take them out with? here's your void hunter solution.
5: severian
yeah idk
initially I'd assume electric, because both seth and cissia are electric, but then you look at the colours between him and seth. seth, being electric, has a blue colourscheme, including blue eyes. severian has gold and black, with gold eyes.
so, what does that leave us with? physical? yellow/gold is one of the colours associated with it. but, as much as they like to screw over male characters, they have made them all different elements. or maybe that means he's not a dps? I am lacking in supports, otherwise. but hoyo doesn't like making male supports most of the time, there's only a handfull. idk, maybe they'll throw him into defence jail.
idk. all I can say, I don't think he'll be electric.
6: storyteller
yeah this is genuinely impossible
her abilities are not one of the existing elements. so the two options are:
- she won't get these metal looking abilities when she's playable
- she'll have a special void hunter element, which is this metal stuff
looking at her design, it's hard to get a read due to the lighting. but her name and the little signature thingy are light blue and dark blue. combined with her vibes... I'm saying she's either ice or wind. beyond that, I have no clue.
