What are my options around voluntary termination of car finance (hp) black horse

I have a Peugeot 2008 on hire purchase through black horse and I’m sick of it. It’s cost me around 3k in repairs this last year but I’ve had consistent issues from the start with the ad blue system and now the ecu.
I’m over 50% of the way through my finance agreement and have looked into voluntary termination but given the current state of its ecu and adblue faults it wouldn’t be considered ‘road worthy’ so I’m under the impression I can’t do it that way without a hefty repair bill?

What are my options here? 4k left of the finance agreement . Trade in price is around 2.5k

At a loss and I have no clue what I am doing 😂
