is this show losing budget or something??

Okay so I rewatched seasons 1-4 of the show before starting season 5 and what i’ve noticed is that the budget really seemed to plummet s4 to now. In season 1, homelander literally lasers down a plane and supes use their powers often. In season 2, storm front blows up several apartment buildings and uses her powers a lot. There was also the whale scene and the finale had explosions. Then season 3 had herogasm and the finale, probably the most “bombastic” the show has been in terms of action and spectacle. But in season 4, i can hardly recall any of that level happening. And besides the first episode in season 5 i don’t recall anything of that scale happening either. Did something happen to the budget or something or is this just poor creative decisions?
