service jobs are the fucking worst

there is nothing that makes me angrier or more depressed than working in the service industry. Cafes. Restaurants, they're all the same, and they fucking suck

Coworkers are cliquey, talk about you behind your back, don't show you any grace when you're new, don't help when you're struggling, and think they can treat anyone however they want

Customers are rude, harass me for being black and I cant even say anything about it. They get to treat you like shit and management doesn't care as long as they keep coming back and spending money.

And the worst part is you do all of it for fucking pennies and crumbs.

I'd rather be scrubbing shit off the walls or putting away boxes, because then I don't have to interact with anyone because everyone in this industry is a fucking asshole
