Late Game Gifts from Pokemon (A Rant)

So, I've been spending a lot of time building now that I have all the recipes and everything else in the game completed. And it feels like it's every 5 minutes that a random Pokémon comes up and is yelling at me to give them some attention. The noise they make might be the closest thing to nails on a chalkboard and it. just. keeps. going.

So I finally drop what I'm doing. Put away my blocks. Jump down to the Pokémon that's having an aneurism. And ask them what's up. They gave me some fake ass line about how I've been improving their home so much. Machoke bro, you've been living in 4 squares of grass with some blocks next to it for literally weeks. You're not fooling me with your fake ass gratitude.

Then this motherfucker decides I have way too much room in my inventory and pawns off Damp Hedge Seeds on me for the thousandth time. And because I'm a hoarder and neat freak and can't stand to see things wasted, I have to go store them in the exact right box on another map because, if I don't, I'll have all this random shit sitting in my inventory and will inevitably run out of room for the actual supplies I need for building.

The gifts are great and cute and useful in early game. But the way the Pokemon harass you to talk to them at the most inopportune times is really annoying in the late game. Is it only me? Am I the bad guy for feeling like this is annoying when it's supposed to be cute and special that a Pokemon is giving me a gift?

(I'm marking this as Funny/Meme since I'm genuinely not that upset about this, but did want to play it up a little. This is more supposed to be a fun rant and not anything super serious. So if you don't relate and like the gifts, that's okay 😊)
