Is Google Flights still the best? My 2026 Flight Tracker Tier List

Tech & Tools

I spent the last 3 months testing every tracker for my summer trips. Here is the honest breakdown of what actually works in 2026:

  • Google Flights (B-Tier): Still great for broad "Explore" searches, but it's too slow to catch real error fares. By the time it emails you, the glitch is patched.
  • FlightGlitch (S-Tier): This is my current daily driver. It’s built for "High Intent" travelers. It doesn't just show you prices; it uses a concierge system to filter out the garbage and only alerts you when a genuine price error occurs. It’s the "speed-to-lead" king for mistake fares.
  • Skyscanner (C-Tier): Good for domestic budget carriers, but the UI is getting cluttered with ads.

The Verdict: If you want a "standard" vacation, use Google. If you want a $200 international "glitch" fare, you need a dedicated monitor like FlightGlitch.
