massive fps drop when playing

Just had some updates and I can't figure out how to fix big fps drops. I usually play around 60-120 fps but it wont even manage 15 in the orbiter alone. Ive tried everything i can to fix it but not sure what im doing. Anyone know what's going on?

I have AMD Ryzen 5 7600x / 16gb ram / windows 11 / playing through steam

havent had issues like this in the past, just logged on for the first time in like 5 months and can't even walk around the orbiter without getting nauseous
