Never invested I feel it to risky

I’m 24m I took over the family business as my dads 72 and I’ve always worked with him and for him. Nothing was given to me I’ll be making payments on the business for another 6-8 years possibly and I’ve been making them for 4 years already. I’m not sure if investing in any stocks as I see it risky so I’ve started my roth at 18 or 19 I think at first my dad made me but I’m glad he did, I now have 50 in my ROTH that I act as if I can never touch and 32 in a CD that makes little to no returns and then around 17 in my emergency fund. I’m very scared to invest because I’m kinda stingy with my money and I live alone and pay all my bills. I’m more looking for encouraging on investing and if it’s a smart move and what would be smart moves. I know you can lose a lot on this type of thing and I won’t let that happen. Just looking for tips and other useful input
