How would you support a child of divorce??

Hi today me and my bestfriend were hanging out as usual when her mum came in and told her that they were getting a divorce.

Without getting too personal, her parents were having issues for about two months and her mum decided she had had enough. But she still wants to stay in their home which idk how thats going to work.

So ive been thinking of how to support her in her time of need and im not sure what to do. I cant physically be there to support her as im going on vacation soon so i was wondering what else i could do idk im not really good at comforting people sorry

P.S. we arent like little kids or anything, we are both 18
