Will it ever be enough?
Is it ever enough? For you
My ears lend time, lashed by your words
Sometimes comforted by them.
My blood used as ink, writing to you, asking if you’re okay,
I’m losing consciousness
You think it’s sweet.
Where is everyone else you ‘love’?
You’re trying, waiting for them to spot you,
I’m sat beside you, clutching the dark clouds you blew onto me.
Will you spot me?
I’m sure you will,
Next time you feel those tears,
You’ll remember I have tissues.
That’s what I’m good for, right?
Spill into me, drain out of me. At least I’m needed.
