How did you prepare for your glucose test?

Hello everyone, and happy mother's day!!

I was told that I will be completing my glucose test after my prenatal appointment here in a couple of days. However, I received absolutely no instruction from my doctor about what to do (or not to do) before the test. Maybe that's normal... I don't know. I expected at least some direction or rules to follow as I have seen other women online say that they were told to fast before the test, or that they were told to eat a high protein breakfast that morning.

Did you receive any direction as to how to prepare for it? What steps did you take before your glucose test?
