B1 Maintenance message, but not due for an oil change

A “B1 Maintenance due soon” message popped up on my 2019 civic today. After some googling I found that means an oil change and tire rotation is needed, but I still have a month / 3K miles until my next oil change is due. Maybe I’m due for a tire rotation, but I’ve been driving this car for 7 years and have never seen this message pop up before (despite waiting a bit longer than I should have for a rotation in the past).

Does this message come up automatically at a certain mileage, or am I actually in immediate need of an oil change despite being a month / 3K miles from when I was last told I would need one.
