I built 303030V a 30-30-30 morning routine app built around the Seven Virtues
Hey everyone! Next up, I wanted to share another app I built: 303030V.
App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/303030v/id6756642220
Platform: iPhone / Apple Watch
Pricing: Subscription
303030V is a simple morning habit app built around the popular 30-30-30 routine:
* 30g of protein
* Within 30 minutes of waking
* Followed by 30 minutes of low-intensity movement
The idea is to help people start the day with discipline, energy, and momentum without needing a complicated fitness tracker or calorie logging system.
## What 303030V Does
303030V helps you track the core morning routine with simple daily check-ins:
* Protein completed
* Movement completed
* Daily streak
* XP progress
* Virtue-based leveling
* Apple Watch tracking
* Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets
The app is intentionally simple: no massive food database, no complicated workout plans, no overwhelming dashboard.
Just wake up, hit your protein, move your body, and build the habit.
## Built Around the Seven Virtues
The part that makes 303030V fit r/catholicapps is the progression system.
Instead of generic levels, users progress through the Seven Virtues:
* Faith
* Hope
* Charity
* Prudence
* Justice
* Fortitude
* Temperance
I wanted the app to treat health and discipline as something deeper than vanity or body obsession.
The 30-30-30 routine is physical, but the habit itself can point toward something more: order, self-mastery, stewardship of the body, and showing up faithfully each morning.
## Why I Built It
A lot of health apps are either too complicated, too body-image focused, or too easy to abandon.
303030V is meant to make the morning routine feel achievable:
* Eat enough protein
* Move at a sustainable pace
* Build consistency
* Strengthen discipline
* Grow through virtue-themed progress
For Catholics, I think there is a healthy way to approach fitness: not worshiping the body, not neglecting it, but caring for it as something entrusted to us.
## Apple Watch Support
303030V also includes an Apple Watch companion, so users can check off the routine, view today’s status, and keep track of their streak from their wrist.
That was important because the routine should feel lightweight and easy to complete during the morning, not like another app you have to constantly manage.
## Feedback Welcome
I’d love feedback on:
* Does the app concept make sense?
* Does the Seven Virtues progression system feel meaningful?
* Would Catholics understand why this belongs here?
* Does the app feel too fitness-focused, or does the virtue angle connect it well?
* What features would make the routine easier to stick with?
* Would you want prayer, scripture, or saint quotes added to the morning flow?
* Does the App Store positioning feel clear?
Thanks for checking it out. I’m excited to keep sharing these apps and to help r/catholicapps become a place where Catholic builders can get real feedback on useful digital tools.
God bless!
